Autumn Leaves

I don’t want to go down the typical ‘Where did summer go?!’ route, but seriously, where did it go?! I can’t believe we’re heading into Autumn now, but I’m actually quite happy about it because I love Autumn. It’s my favourite season with all the beautiful colours and the ‘C’ word drawing ever closer. As we’re going into a new season I think it definitely means I’m entitled to do a bit of shopping right?! So I thought I’d share my Autumn wish list with you, to perhaps give you a bit of inspiration for the Autumn/Winter season.

I'm really loving duffle coats at the moment and the fact that this one is pink makes it even better! I thought this sleek bag would be great for going to work but is also casual enough for every day use. We're meant to be having some Autumn sunshine, so I thought this gorgeous fedora in a deep red would be fantastic for keeping the sunshine off your face but also keeping your head warm. I'm absolutely loving the River Island Jumpsuit and think it's suitable for work or play, with the gorgeous tweed bottoms and cream pussy bow top. The white lace top is so delicate and pretty and would look great teamed with a pretty little skirt or some smart trousers for work. The New Look cat print tunic is right up my street. I'm sure you know by now that I'm a big cat fan, so I'll be popping this cute tunic straight in my basket this season! When I came across the Cath Kidston make-up brushes I must admit I let out an excited squeal! I don't know what the quality is like, but they're not too expensive and look so pretty that I just can't resist! With the weather cooling down I'll be needing things to keep me warm, and this beautiful River Island cape with a faux fur collar will do just the job. If I want something a little smarter, the leather jacket, also from River Island would look great over anything. The red leather looks lovely and soft and so comfortable to wear.

This jump suit is really similar to the playsuit I showed you above, so if you prefer shorts to trousers this would be just as good. I'm a sucker for something sparkly, so these silver River Island shoes really jumped out of my computer screen as I browsed through. How awesome would they look with some simple black trousers? They would really jazz up an outfit and bring a bit of happiness on a dreary Autumn morning. This pink and silver River Island skirt will also be great for this season, and will look lovely with a pair of thick cream tights and a pair of heels. Mustard yellow is really big this Autumn and I love this New Look zip back jumper in the colour. The zip detailing on the back makes it more interesting than just a simple jumper. How gorgeous is this cream Miss Selfridge jumper with the embellished jewelled collar. I've absolutely fallen in love with it - I always love wearing cream in the Autumn as I think it's the perfect backdrop for all the reds, oranges and yellows associated with the season. But the jewels around the collar give it an extra special finish. As the weather gets colder you'll be looking for things to keep you warm and I just love these cable knit mittens from Topshop, which are a bargain at only £10. And last, but certainly not least, is this gorgeous co-ordinated set of a pink furry crop top and mini skirt from Missguided. As well as mustard, pink is also going to be big this Autumn and this outfit will look brilliant either on it's own, or teamed with some cream tights and a leather jacket.

Are you looking forward to Autumn? What’s on your wish list?

  1. I've been loving updating my wardrobe for autumn/winter. I've bought a few pairs of jeans and have been updating/adjusting some of my old winter clothes. I love the colder months, and am more excited than ever this season! :)
