Arts 'n' Candies*

A little while back, when I was taking a break from blogging, I came across an awesome account on Instagram: @iArtCandy. If you’re a fan of Lush you’re going to love what she does. She makes jewellery out of polymer clay, but not just any old jewellery; this is jewellery in the shape of different Lush products! What more could you want?! I immediately contacted her to see if she would be interested in working with me and was excited when she replied and said she would be happy to send me something to review. For the next few days I jumped up every time I heard the postman, and sure enough, about a week or so later, a little parcel arrived wrapped in bright pink paper.

We had had a chat before hand about my favourite Lush products and my favourite colours, so I was excited to find out what was inside the parcel. Thankfully she managed to choose one of my favourite pieces, the unicorn horn, and made it into a lovely delicate necklace. The clay model is so tiny, but absolutely perfect with intricate details and beautiful colours. This particular necklace retails for £7.99, which I think is a bargain for something so pretty.

As well as necklaces, she also makes a range of other items of jewellery such as bracelets, earrings and necklaces, within the Lush range. I keep eyeing them up on her Etsy shop, which you can find here, and have to stop myself from buying one of everything she sells! I think these would make great gifts though, so if you’ve got any friends who are massive Lush fans, it would definitely be worth having a browse of her Etsy page and Instagram for ideas.

Although her Lush line is particularly popular, she actually started off making candy inspired jewellery for herself. As friends and family saw her creations, they started putting in orders and her business began to grow. She now has an amazing 7702 Instagram followers and 3726 likes on her Facebook page, which is testament to her fantastic creations. I’m really happy that I’ve been given an opportunity to introduce you to these products and I hope you might place a little order for a friend, or even for yourself!

What do you think of these pieces of unique jewellery? Have I tempted you to place an order?
