Blogger Books

Over the last few months I’ve been gradually collecting various books from Bloggers. There seem to be a lot of bloggers with book deals at the moment, which is great and such an exciting thing to be happening for people in this industry. I thought I would share with you a few of the books that I’ve picked up or been sent recently, to help you decide which ones you want to pick up for yourselves.

The first book that I ordered from Amazon was Girl Online by Zoe Sugg (or Zoella, as she’s more commonly known in the YouTube world). Now, there was quite a scandal around this book with people complaining that Zoe hadn’t written it herself, but she always maintained that she had had help with the book, so I personally don’t quite see what all the fuss is about. I haven’t read this one yet (it’s next on my pile) but I think the story is very similar to Zoe’s story of how she got into blogging. As far as I’m aware it’s aimed more at the younger teenage audience, but I’ve heard that, if you take it for what it is, then it’s an enjoyable book.

I was very kindly sent Tanya Burr’s book by Penguin a few weeks back and so far I’ve had a quick flick through it and am really impressed. It’s full of a whole range of different topics from food to beauty and from fashion to pampering. It’s just the kind of thing I would expect from Tanya, and if you enjoy her blog and videos, then you’re sure to enjoy her book as well.

The next book that I ordered was Deliciously Ella’s new book, which came out a few weeks ago. I’ve had quite a good read of this book, and found her story at the beginning very interesting, especially from the point of view of a fellow chronic illness sufferer. This book is full of tasty but healthy recipes and information about different foods. I feel like I’ve already learnt so much about the best way to nourish my body and keep myself as healthy as possible. I’ve already had a go at making one of her dishes and it was absolutely divine, so I’m excited to make more!

The final book that I’ve got for you today only arrived a couple of days ago, so I’m yet to have a proper read of it. But I’m pretty sure it’s going to be good, considering how good everything else is that Fleur de Force does! After having a quick flick through, I was really taken by the beautiful illustrations that fill the pages. In a way it’s a bit similar to the book by Tanya Burr, in that it’s got a whole range of topics in it, so I will be interested to see how much the two differ.

Overall though, I’m really impressed with what these bloggers have achieved, and it gives me hope for my own future, that maybe one day I could be where they are now.

Have you picked up any of these blogger books? Are there any others you would recommend?
