My sister often shops at Boohoo, but I must admit I hadn’t really explored the store much until fairly
recently. But in my usual way, once I started exploring, my basket began
filling up and at the end I then had to go through everything in my basket and
decide if I really wanted it (not easy when you want to keep everything!) I
noticed my wardrobe looks a bit dull, and in the summer I think it’s a great
excuse to wear lots of gorgeous bright colours, so I managed to stock up on
some lovely pieces full of colour and pattern, perfect for a long, hot summer.
First was this gorgeous
skater style skirt with the lovely blue and white pattern, which goes
brilliantly teamed with a plain white vest top. Such a simple outfit that works
for work and play. You could also team it with heels for a more ‘going out’
look.
I find the skater style
skirt seems to suit my body shape, so I decided to go for this more unusual
print, which I think is fantastic for those long summer days. I love the ombre
pink, purple and blue and the black palm trees really make the skirt pop.
I must admit these trousers
were a bit of an impulse buy, and when they arrived I was a little bit scared
to try them on, as they’re not like anything I’ve worn before. But I was really
pleasantly surprised by how great they took teamed with a simple white top. I
never really wear patterned trousers as I don’t like to draw attention to my
bottom half, but I’m really happy with how these look and I will definitely be
wearing them on my holiday to Center Parcs in August.
As you’ve probably guessed
from previous posts, I love the colour pink. So when I saw this gorgeous bright
pink blazer it went straight in my basket. This was a bit of a comfort buy, as
I had been dying to get the pink coat from Zara that I shared in my post about
pink coats, but it’s constantly been out of stock, so this filled a little pink
gap I had in my wardrobe.
I love blouses – I think
they’re a fantastic piece to have in your wardrobe, as they can be dressed up
for work, like I have with some black trousers and cute dolly shoes (these were
a bargain from Primark). Or you could wear it with some skinny jeans, which
would be perfect for a relaxed weekend at home. I’m slowly building up my
collection of pretty blouses as I think they are so versatile, they’re worth
picking up and possibly spending a bit more on.
Have you checked out Boohoo recently?
Do you tend to order from them or are you a first-timer like me?!
